Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah’s Wife Parvathi Hospitalised

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s wife, Parvathi Siddaramaiah, has been hospitalised to a private hospital in Bangalore with indications of moderate pneumonia, according to a bulletin issued by the hospital on Wednesday.

She was hospitalized to Manipal Hospitals’ facility on Old Airport Road on Tuesday night, according to the hospital.

According to sources close to the Chief Minister, Parvathi, Siddaramaiah’s 75-year-old wife, had a fever and was suffering from respiratory difficulties.

According to the sources, before travelling to Delhi, the Chief Minister visited the hospital, met with his wife, and checked about her status.

“The Hon’ble Chief Minister’s wife, Mrs Parvathi was admitted to Manipal Hospital Old Airport road on 20th June in the late evening. She has symptoms of mild pneumonia. She is on antibiotics and recovering well. She is currently stable,” treating doctor and consultant pulmonologist Dr Guruprasad Bhat said.

Siddaramaiah was scheduled to leave at 9.50 a.m., but due to his wife’s health, he delayed his flight to Delhi by more than an hour, according to sources familiar with the situation.
