Kapil Sibal Wins Election For President of Supreme Court Bar Association Post With Huge Votes

Supreme Court Bar Association Elections: Senior Supreme Court lawyer and Rajya Sabha MP from Samajwadi Party, Kapil Sibal has won the election for the post of President of the Supreme Court Bar Association. In this election, the current president, senior advocate Adish Aggarwal, stood third and senior advocate Pradeep Rai stood second.

Kapil Sibal got 1066 votes. His nearest rival, senior lawyer Pradeep Rai, got 689 votes. It is not that Kapil Sibal has won the Supreme Court Bar Association elections for the first time. Even before this, Kapil Sibal has held the post of President of SCBA in 2001-02 and held this post twice in 1995-1996, 1997-1998.
