Israeli Embassy blast Case: No evidence of explosion found at site, investigation underway

After the explosion outside the Israeli Embassy in Chanakyapuri, Delhi, apart from Delhi Police, teams of NIA and NSG are also investigating the matter. However, no material related to the explosion was found on the spot. In such a situation, the probe agencies are also investigating the theory of chemical blast and are busy searching for chemical evidence. Two suspects have been seen in the CCTV camera footage installed near the Israeli Embassy.

NIA and NSG teams have examined CCTV recordings from Abdul Kalam Road and Prithviraj Road to debunk the conspiracy. There is a possibility of a chemical blast as no remains of explosive material were found at the spot. According to an official associated with the investigation team, no evidence of burnt explosives was found from the site.

Delhi Police also found a threatening letter addressing the Israeli Embassy from the site. Till late Tuesday evening, the police had not found any clues related to the incident. According to news agency ANI, “two suspects were seen in the CCTV camera footage installed outside the Israeli Embassy. It is suspected that these two people wrote the threatening letter. The police are also examining CCTV footage of that area.

The police is trying to find out how the routes taken by the two suspects to reach the site. A thorough investigation is underway to indentify the accused.
