Chadrayaan 3 landing
The highly ambitious third lunar mission that is Chandrayaan-3 has already covered two third of its distance to its destination. The moment of truth will be at 7 p.m in the evening as the Lunar Orbit injection is supposed to happen at that time. When ISRO’s aspirations and hard work will conclude to produce a result that is much awaited. The hopes and high and higher are the stakes, this mission has to have a smooth ending. ‘Special Update’ on the moon mission from ISRO
ISRO’s LVM3-M4/CHANDRAYAAN-3 MISSION posted a message on X which was known as Twitter earlier. The post said, “Hello! This is Chandrayaan 3 with a special update. I want to let everyone know that it has been an amazing journey for me so far and now I am going to enter the Lunar Orbit today (August 5, 2023) at around 19:00 hrs IST. To know where I am and what I’m doing, stay tuned!”

ISRO shares the objectives as Chandrayaan 3 is to land
The density of the Moon’s near-surface plasma (ions and electrons) will be measured by the Indian spacecraft Chandrayaan. It will conduct measurements of the lunar surface’s thermal characteristics close to the polar zone. Additionally, Chandrayaan-3 will map the structure of the lunar crust and mantle and analyse seismic activity near the landing location. Along with this, it will investigate the soil’s mineral makeup on the moon. In essence, Chandrayaan-3 is a study conducted passively to better comprehend the dynamics of the Moon system.

Let’s get to the launching part
India’s third lunar exploration mission is called Chandrayaan-3. It was successfully launched on the GSLV Mark 3 (LVM 3) heavy-lift launch vehicle on July 14 from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh.
The ISRO’s Chandrayaan-3 project is a follow-up effort after the Chandrayaan-2 mission encountered difficulties during its soft lunar landing in 2019. In the end, it was determined that Chandrayaan-2 had failed to achieve its primary mission goals. With Chandrayaan-3 landing safely, India can join the US, China, and Russia as the fourth nation to successfully land a spacecraft on the moon’s surface and show that it is capable of a soft and safe landing. Chandrayaan 3 landing will be giving a very loud and clear message to the world.
