On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a dig at the opposition INDIA alliance, claiming that its members were threatening him to halt the nation’s progress and trying to protect the corrupt.
Speaking at a rally in the Balaghat area of Madhya Pradesh, Modi stated that the goal of approaching Lok Sabha election is to create a new India and asked for the people’s approval to make important and momentous decisions during the ruling National Democratic Alliance’s third term in office.
He claimed that the “sea of saffron” that flocked to hear him predicts the outcome of the June 4 poll. Leaders of the opposition INDIA group, according to PM Modi, are mistreating him and threatening to halt the progress of the nation.
He claimed that the opposing parties were trying to shield people who were engaging in corruption.
“When Modi gives a guarantee of the country’s security, they abuse me. When Modi fulfills the guarantee of abrogating Article 370 (which granted special status to Jammu and Kashmir), they start talking in the language of Pakistan,” he said.
“We have to take the rocket of development much higher,” he said. The PM said he is a devotee of Lord Mahakal and not afraid of anyone.
“Modi bows either before Lord Mahakal or before the public and for the development of the country and its service, I have also learnt to tolerate abuses,” he said.
Additionally, Modi claimed that when he carried out the pledge to dedicate Lord Ram’s idol at the Ayodhya temple, the opposition leaders mistreated him.
Modi said that the Congress plotted to remove President Murmu, the country’s first tribal woman to hold the office.
He urged everyone to cast ballots in historic numbers and to shatter all polling records. On April 19, the first round of the Lok Sabha elections in MP will take place in Balaghat.
