PM modi's Road show in Indore
In an effort to connect with voters and win their support for the ruling BJP in the Madhya Pradesh assembly elections on November 17, Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in a sizable roadshow in Indore on Tuesday night. After speaking at election rallies around the state, Prime Minister Modi landed in Indore. From the city’s Bada Ganpati square, he boarded an open “chariot” pulled by a modest four-wheeler.
Saffron corridor in roadshow of PM Modi
According to a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader, the barricades on both sides of the road were covered with saffron material to create a “saffron corridor” for the prime minister’s roadshow. Modi waved to the crowds of people gathered on either side of the street as he passed through the hallway. Party flags were spotted being held by BJP workers who were stationed along the route.
At several locations along the route, people showered the prime minister with flowers in celebration. They also chanted “Modi, Modi” and waved images of the Ram temple that is now under construction in Ayodhya alongside pictures of Modi. An hour later, the prime minister’s chariot arrived at Rajbada crossroads in the city center, having traveled through the assembly constituencies of Indore-1, Indore-4, and Indore-3 over a distance of almost 1.5 kilometers.

Modi Garlanded Ahilyabai Holkar
Modi honored Ahilyabai Holkar, the head of the former Indore Holkar dynasty, by garlands and tributes at this location. During the roadshow, the PM was escorted on the chariot by State BJP President V D Sharma. For the roadshow, the police made complex security precautions.
In the 2018 assembly elections, the Congress only secured one seat, Indore-1, while the BJP secured four of the five seats in the Indore metropolitan area. This time, the BJP is running its national general secretary, Kailash Vijayvargiya, from Indore-1. Sanjay Shukla, a current Congress MLA, is the primary opponent. On Wednesday night, the MP assembly polls campaign will come to a close.
