Hydrogen energy best, totally capable of satisfying future’s energy demands. Prof. Ganpati D Yadav

Prof .Yadav, said that it is fully capable of meeting the energy needs of the future,the research being done in the world regarding the production and conservation of hydrogen.He also informed about the research being done in the world regarding the production and conservation of hydroge.

Varanasi : Padma Shri Prof. Ganapati D. Yadav, former Vice Chancellor of the Department of Science, Technology and Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai, on Tuesday described hydrogen energy as the best. He said that it is fully capable of meeting the energy needs of the future.
He also informed about the research being done in the world regarding the production and conservation of hydrogen. National Science Chairman of the Government of India, Prof. Ganpati D. Yadav was addressing the inaugural session of the International Conference based on energy related materials and devices organized by the Physics Department of Kashi Hindu University Women’s College.
He explained about many types of hydrogen energy like blue hydrogen, white hydrogen, green hydrogen. Head of the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, BHU, Prof. Rajendra Kumar Singh informed about the activities of the Physics Department related to energy devices and the latest achievements on sodium batteries, which has been recognized by DST, India by including it in its news report. He told audiences that this is B.H.U legacy and active research has been conducted in this area since 1980s.
Convenor Prof. Neelam Srivastava said that 133 participants had registered for the conference, out of which 116 have presented abstracts. 33 distinguished speakers including seven international speakers accepted to share their expertise at the conference. He said that being a women’s education institute, the organizing committee tried to contact eminent women scientists.
She told that in the present era, our life is difficult without smartphones, laptops, smart watches, health gadgets, satellites etc. “Due to advancements in the technology of electronic devices, the demand for devices with higher energy capacities is increasing at a rapid pace; hence there is a great need to improve the technology of currently available energy storage devices. The objective of the present conference is to discuss innovation in energy devices and related materials. So as to update the understanding about the current state-of-the-art technology. And we can plan for better equipment,” she asserted. The conference was presided over by Prof. Rita Singh, Principal of Women’s College. Dr. Paneer expressed vote of thanks.
