In a grand celebration of its 20th anniversary, the Gunjan Foundation hosted the ‘Dastak-e-Dil’ program at Siri Fort Auditorium in Delhi. The event attracted hundreds of attendees, including special guest Upendra Rai, Chairman, Managing Director, and Editor-in-Chief of Bharat Express News Network. Rai was honored during the ceremony for his contributions.

The evening was highlighted by a captivating performance from renowned singer and musician Shankar Mahadevan, who left the audience spellbound. The program was skillfully conducted by well-known anchor Richa Anirudh, adding to the event’s appeal.
Educated Underprivileged And Deprived Children
Sushma Singhvi, founder and president of the Gunjan Foundation, addressed the audience, reflecting on the organization’s journey. “Despite the challenges, we stayed committed to our mission,” she stated. “It took time, but we have reached our destination. In 20 years, we have educated around 2,200 children across locations including Jaipur, Ahmedabad, and Delhi.” Singhvi emphasized the foundation’s significance, calling Gunjan a “paradise” and “soul” of their work.

Founded in 2004, the Gunjan Foundation has dedicated itself to empowering underprivileged children through education. Its initiatives include providing scholarships for students from classes one to twelve, as well as support for higher education in fields such as engineering, medicine, nursing, and graduate studies. Moreover, the foundation aims to foster progress and create positive societal change through education.
