Gujarat’s Chief Minister, Bhupendra Patel, spent a night in Jalotra village, Banaskantha district, as part of the ruling BJP’s ‘Gaon Chalo’ campaign, where he emphasized the importance of drip irrigation and organic farming. He also urged the youth to steer clear of addiction and focus on education.
Launching the campaign with prayers at a local temple and participating in a cleanliness drive, Patel expressed confidence in the BJP government’s commitment to completing pending projects swiftly. He emphasized the need to strengthen the party under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, aiming for a ‘developed Gujarat with a developed India’.

During his stay, Patel dined with the family of local leader Dineshbhai Bhatola, emphasizing grassroots connections. The ‘Gaon Chalo Abhiyan’ aims to bolster all booths in Gujarat ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, with 56,700 party workers, including ministers and MLAs, assigned various responsibilities.
Interacting with farmers, youth, women, and community leaders, Patel discussed government schemes and encouraged farmers to adopt modern agricultural practices. He also announced the sanctioning of Rs 862 crore for a water supply project benefiting 125 villages in the region.
