Prayagraj’s Maha Kumbh is set to weave a compelling narrative of environmental conservation alongside its cultural and spiritual significance.

On 31 January, the city will host the Green Maha Kumbh, a remarkable event bringing together over 1,000 environmental and water conservation experts from across the nation.

This event is part of the Gyan Maha Kumbh – 2081 series, organized by Shiksha Sanskriti Utthan Nyas, with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath serving as its chief patron.

During the Green Maha Kumbh, a national-level discussion will address critical issues concerning nature, the environment, water, and cleanliness.

Experts will share their insights on maintaining the balance of the five elements of nature and finding solutions to the challenges facing them.

The event will also focus on raising awareness among Maha Kumbh visitors about environmental protection and cleanliness, alongside campaigns to promote these crucial efforts.

Environmental activist Ram Babu Tiwari mentioned that preparations for the Green Maha Kumbh are progressing rapidly.

“Environmental and nature conservation activists and experts from across the country will participate. There will also be in-depth discussions on how to engage devotees attending the Maha Kumbh in the environmental protection and cleanliness campaigns,” he further added.
