Youth those who have always wished to be a part of UP Police, here a good news for them. Recruitment and Promotion Board will directly recruit 52,699 constables. Earlier these recruitments were to be done for 35,757 posts. For the last ten months as the executive body wasn’t functioning, so no step was taken in this regard.
After two companies showed interest in conducting the recruitment test, the process for the direct recruitment of 52,699 constables started. This will be the biggest recruitment in the history of state police. The direct recruitment will take place for 41,811 Constable Civil Police, 8540 Constable PAC, 1007 Firemen, 1341 Constable UPSSF Posts.
According to sources, by July 15, the tender for the selection of the executive body for written examination and other works related to recruitment will be published. After the selection of the institution, the written examination will be conducted by the end of this year.
Earlier these recruitments were to be done on 35,757 posts, which included 26,210 posts of constable civilian police, 1007 posts of firemen and 8540 posts of PAC. Now it has also included 15,601 posts of Constable Civil Police and 1341 constables of UP Special Security Force (UPSSF).
In the last month of November, the tender was issued to select the executive body for direct recruitment on 35,757 posts of constables. In this only Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) participated in the tender. Because of this the tender had to be cancelled. Later, TCS pulled its hands due to the fear of solver gangs in the examination.
About 25 lakh applications are expected for direct recruitment of 52,699 constables. In fact, for the past several years, youths have been waiting to start the recruitment process to become soldiers. Before this, 23 lakh candidates have applied for the constable recruitment examinations as well. This time more candidates are expected to appear due to more posts.
