Gang Of Muslim Locals Beat Hindu Boy As Spot Him With A Muslim Girl, FIR Lodged

Another tragic incident of communal violence came in light in Karnataka, a Hindu man was brutally beaten by a number of people from the Muslim community when they spotted him with a Muslim girl.

After the video of crime circulated on social media, an FIR was registered by the police at Market Police Station against 13 people. The incident happened at Khade Bazar in Belagavi district. Gyaneshwar, the victim, is a dealer in shoes.

Pictures show the victim being encircled by a gang of guys who took matters into their own hands and trashed him after they claimed spotting him with a Muslim girl.

The victim and the girl were riding in an auto from the Belagavi bus station to Khade Bazar when the incident happened. More than ten Muslim individuals physically and verbally attacked Gyaneshwar.

Police Commissioner Belagavi Sidaramappa reports that six people have been taken into custody in connection with the crime. According to Market Police Station, searches are being made for the remaining suspects.
