A video of a man bowing down in front of SP’s chairman of Pihani municipality in Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh, is viral on social media. He is seen placing his head before his feet and asking for forgiveness with folded hands. During this, some people can be heard saying in a loud voice about apologizing in the background. The young man seen in the video says he was seeking blessings by touching SP chairman’s feet, who is her like mother. However, the woman chairman called it a political conspiracy.
The video that went viral on social media late on Friday night. In the video, a Dalit youth living in Mohalla Mir Sarai of the municipality, Rajaram, is seen apologizing by placing his head in front of the municipality chairman Shaheen Begum’s feet. During this, the chairman is seen sitting on the chair and smiling lightly.
The young man is heard saying ‘forgive me for a big mistake’, during someone from behind asks him to speak in a loud voice, after which he said forgive me once again, now I won’t repeat the mistake. After which the chairperson asks the young man in the video to get up.
As soon as this video trended on social media, Rajaram, a youth who bowed down and apologized by falling at the feet of the chairman, termed it wrong and called the chairman like her mother. At the same time, the woman chairman has called this viral video a conspiracy of her political opponents. The man told the police that the facts stated in video are fake in a written statement.
