Father in Uttar Pradesh Murders Son
In a disturbing incident in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, the fervor surrounding a cricket match turned fatal as Ganesh Prasad allegedly murdered his son, Deepak, during the highly anticipated World Cup final between India and Australia. Sources reveal that Ganesh was so engrossed in the match that he became infuriated when Deepak interrupted by requesting him to prepare dinner.
The situation escalated when Ganesh ignored his son’s plea, prompting Deepak to take matters into his own hands by turning off the television. This seemingly trivial act spiraled into a heated argument and eventually erupted into a physical confrontation. In a state of inebriation, Ganesh reportedly strangled his son with a mobile charger, highlighting the tragic consequences of unchecked aggression and substance abuse.

Kanpur police swiftly responded to the incident, apprehending Ganesh on Monday after he fled the scene. The lifeless body of Deepak was discovered on the stairs by a relative. Authorities attribute the immediate cause of the murder to the dispute over watching the cricket match.
Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Brij Narayan Singh, overseeing Chakeri police station, disclosed that a mobile charging cable was employed in the shocking crime. The body has been sent for post-mortem examination, shedding light on the brutal details of the tragedy.
