This tragic incident follows a recent fire outbreak at a cotton storage shed in the same district, attributed to a short circuit.

A tragic incident has occurred in Telangana’s Sangareddy district, where a chemical factory’s reactor exploded, resulting in the loss of at least five lives and injuring 10 others. Officials fear the death toll may rise as several individuals remain trapped in the aftermath of the blast. Reports indicate that approximately 50 individuals were present inside the building during the explosion.

The scene of the explosion depicted in distressing visuals highlights the magnitude of the blast, with images showing a smouldering heap of debris and smoke billowing into the sky, illuminated by the setting sun’s fiery orange glow. This tragic incident follows a recent fire outbreak at a cotton storage shed in the same district, attributed to a short circuit. Fortunately, there were no casualties in that event, which was swiftly brought under control. Similarly, a fire incident occurred last week at a food production unit in the Katedan industrial area of the district, where biscuits, wafers, and confectionery were manufactured.
