FANS Convention Ends With Bold National Security Resolution; ‘No More Pakistan’

The Forum for Awareness of National Security (FANS) concluded its three-day 10th Annual National Convention in New Delhi with a resounding declaration, ‘No More Pakistan’.

The final day featured in-depth discussions on border security, ideological defence, cyber threats, and the strategic role of youth in safeguarding India’s sovereignty.

Delivering the keynote address, senior Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) ideologue and FANS mentor Dr Indresh Kumar declared that the phrase ‘No More Pakistan’ has evolved from a slogan into a cornerstone of India’s national policy.

“As long as Pakistan continues to operate as a hub of terrorism, India’s internal and external security will remain at risk,” he stated.

Dr Kumar stressed the importance of defending not only geographical boundaries but also ideological ones.

Dr Kumar urged the nation’s youth to play an active role in securing India’s unity and integrity. He noted that culture, resources, and ideology will drive future conflicts.

Prof Mazhar Asif, Vice-Chancellor of Jamia Millia Islamia, echoed this sentiment. He pointed out that India’s global stature has improved significantly under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.

“The youth must take responsibility, as India strides towards becoming a developed nation by 2047,” Prof Mazhar Asif noted.

From slogan to nationwide movement

FANS unveiled multiple campaigns focused on national unity and security. These include ‘No More Pakistan’, ‘United India Pledge (Akhanda Bharat Sankalp)’, ‘Drug-Free India’, and ‘Cyber Crime Awareness’.

Public outreach drives are scheduled across Amritsar, Patiala, Jammu & Kashmir, and Kanpur, with focused anti-drug initiatives in Pathankot, Ludhiana, and Jalandhar.

In the Western Zone, the ‘Vishal Bharat Yatra’ will commence from Vadodara on 5 August and conclude in Jammu on 19 August.

This large-scale nationalist march aims to rally citizens under the banner of ‘Amar Bharat Abhiyan’.

The convention also addressed emerging environmental threats.

Dr Kumar and Dr Hissang warned that Pakistan and China are weaponising rivers like the Sindhu and Brahmaputra.

Dr Hissang called China’s dam projects a ‘Water Bomb’, threatening ecological harm and crises in India’s Northeast.

Prof Mahtab Alam Rizvi emphasised that India’s borders are not just territorial lines but symbols of cultural identity.

“The Himalayas are the soul of India. Defending our border regions means preserving our civilisation,” he said.

The convention ended with a cultural evening showcasing India’s unity in diversity.

As FANS’ 10th convention concluded, delegates reaffirmed ‘No More Pakistan’ as a declaration of India’s national will, not a provocation. It reflects a policy direction shaped by security needs and rooted in cultural pride.
