An eye surgeon from GSVM Medical College, Kanpur, has been transferred following allegations of indecent behavior towards a female junior resident doctor. The action was taken on the direct orders of Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak. Disciplinary action has also been recommended against the surgeon.

Immediate Transfer and Disciplinary Action

Dr. Kumar Neeloppal Katiyar, the accused eye surgeon from Ursula Hospital, Kanpur, was transferred to Ballia District Hospital. This decision came after the resident doctor filed a written complaint about his indecent conduct.
