Tension mounts in the region
According to the Ministry of External Affairs, the evacuation of Indian nationals from Gaza is impossible as of now. “Once things become favourable we will evacuate every Indians present out there,” said Arindam Bagchi – spokesperson MEA. At least four Indians stranded in Gaza and one in West Bank but the good news is that no casualties of any Indians reported so far. Particularly during the October 7 Hamas attack in Israel or the subsequent war in Gaza.

On the other hand, if Israeli embassy in India are to be believed three Indians went missing since the October 7 attacks. An Indian caregiver in south Israel’s Ashkelon sustained injuries in Hamas attack on Sabbath. She was reportedly on a video call with her husband when Hamas attacked Israel with rocket barrages.
