Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections are going to be held in November-December this year. All political parties are claiming their victory in the elections. Meanwhile, in a survey conducted by a news channel Congress and BJP are in cutthroat competition. In the survey results, both the parties appear to be close to majority. In such a situation, both parties have to work hard to reach the majority mark.
In the survey, BJP can win between 115-122 seats whereas Congress would end up with a tally in 105-115 range. At the end of the year, elections will be held in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Mizoram, Telangana and Rajasthan. MP elections will be supposedly interesting as to be very interesting. On one hand, BJP is reaching out to the public regarding the work of the central and state government whereas Congress is busy highlighting the issue of corruption and law and order in Shivraj’s government.
At present, the election survey has increased the heartbeats of both the parties. While Congress seems to be getting benefits from Bharat Jodo Yatra, the plus point for BJP is that the magic of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is still intact. 47.5 percent people believe that asking for votes in the name of the Prime Minister will prove to be a profitable deal for BJP.
Apart from this, the first choice of the people of the state as CM is Shivraj Singh Chauhan. He is considered to be the most popular Chief Minister of the present time. 44.2 percent liked him. Congress state president Kamal Nath is at second place. 44.1 percent of people want to see him as the Chief Minister.
It is noteworthy that BJP has so far announced the names of 78 candidates in view of the assembly elections. BJP MPs like Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, and Prahlad Patel are already given tickets by BJP.
