The Delhi Police has issued a notice to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi requesting information on victims who have approached him about sexual harassment.

The police were made aware of the social media posts and sent a questionnaire list.

During the Bharat Jodo Yatra, Rahul Gandi said in Srinagar, “I have heard that women are still being sexually assaulted”.

Delhi Police have asked the Congress leader to provide information about victims so that they can be protected.

Rahul Gandhi has recently returned from a tour of the United Kingdom, but his comments abroad have heightened political tensions in the country.

In contrast, Rahul Gandhi stated in a press conference today that he has not said anything against India or the Indian Parliament and that if he is allowed to speak in Parliament, he will present his case.

Today, during the second phase of the budget session, Rahul Gandhi made his first appearance in Parliament following his return from London. When asked if the ruling party was demanding an apology from him for his remarks, Rahul told reporters in the Parliament House complex, “If they allow me to speak in Parliament, I will say what I think”.

He stated that the BJP will be offended if he speaks in Parliament.
