In a tragic incident that occurred in West Delhi’s Tilak Nagar area, a Swiss woman named Nina Berger was brutally murdered, and her body was discovered near a government school, partly concealed in a black garbage disposal plastic bag. The local police have apprehended a suspect named Gurpreet Singh in connection with this heinous crime.
According to sources within the police department, Gurpreet Singh and Nina Berger had initially met in Switzerland and formed a friendship. However, it is reported that Gurpreet grew suspicious that Nina was involved with another man, leading to a disturbing turn of events.
Gurpreet allegedly devised a plan to murder Nina and lured her to India. Nina arrived in India on October 11, apparently at Gurpreet’s request.
Tragically, just five days later, Gurpreet Singh is said to have taken Nina to a room, where he bound her hands and legs before brutally ending her life. Initially, he concealed Nina’s lifeless body inside a car, which he had obtained using the identification of another woman. However, as a foul odor began emanating from the vehicle, he disposed of her body on the roadside and fled from the scene.
The Delhi Police reportedly managed to trace Gurpreet by obtaining the vehicle’s registration number through the assistance of CCTV footage. They not only seized the car in which the victim’s body was found but also another four-wheeler registered in Gurpreet’s name.
In a significant development, the police discovered a substantial sum of ₹2.25 crore in Gurpreet’s residence, adding another layer of complexity to this shocking and tragic case. The investigation is ongoing, and the authorities are working diligently to bring justice to Nina Berger and her family.
