In the wake of a disappointing performance in the recent Lok Sabha elections in Madhya Pradesh, the Congress party has decided to adopt a more aggressive stance to challenge the ruling BJP government in the state.

According to party sources, a marathon meeting of the State Political Affairs Committee, chaired by Bhanwar Jitendra Singh, was held at the party headquarters in Bhopal on Saturday. The meeting, which lasted over eight hours, focused on restructuring the party organization, increasing women and youth participation, and establishing a cadre-based system.

The new approach aims to assign specific roles to each party member and promote ideological commitment among workers and leaders. The party also plans to announce a new Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) team within the next two weeks, which will be formed through a consensus among senior and junior leaders.

Senior party leaders have been advised to refrain from making unnecessary statements that could benefit the BJP. The move is seen as an effort to present a united front and avoid internal conflicts that may have contributed to the party’s poor performance in the recent elections.

However, Congress party is seeking to regroup and reinvigorate its presence in the state, and the new strategy is seen as a key step in that direction. With the BJP firmly entrenched in power, the Congress party faces an uphill battle, but the new approach may help to galvanize party workers and leaders and present a more formidable challenge to the ruling party.
