CM Yogi Extends Navratri Greetings On Day 4; Prays For Health, Happiness & Prosperity

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extended greetings to devotees on Wednesday, the fourth day of Shardiya Navratri, and sought Maa Kushmanda’s blessings for health, happiness, prosperity and well-being.

Taking to social media platform X, CM Yogi offered prayers to Maa Kushmanda, the fourth manifestation of Goddess Durga, and wished devotees good health, energy, positivity and prosperity.

“Repeated salutations at the feet of Maa Bhagavati’s fourth form, Maa Kushmanda. May Mother’s grace infuse health, happiness, prosperity, energy, and positivity into the lives of all devotees—this is the prayer. Jai Ma Kushmanda,” he wrote in Hindi.

CM Yogi’s message highlighted the religious significance of worshipping Maa Kushmanda during Navratri. Devotees seek the Goddess’s blessings for strength, good health, happiness and success in their lives.

According to Hindu tradition, Maa Kushmanda created the universe with her divine smile, bringing light and energy to the cosmos. Devotees worship her as a source of creative energy, warmth and vitality.

On Navratri’s fourth day, devotees across the country visit temples, perform special pujas, chant devotional mantras and offer prayers to the Goddess. Many also observe fasts and perform religious rituals to seek her blessings for their families.

Shardiya Navratri is a nine-day Hindu festival that honours the nine manifestations of Goddess Durga. Each day, devotees perform rituals and offer prayers to celebrate the divine feminine power.

The festival brings communities together through prayers, devotional music and traditional celebrations, as devotees seek peace, prosperity and protection.

Shardiya Navratri ends with Vijayadashami, or Dussehra, which symbolises the victory of good over evil and the triumph of righteousness.
