CM Champai Soren Greenlights Departmental Action Against Seven State Service Officers

Following the CM’s consent, the Personnel Department has issued orders for disciplinary action.

Chief Minister Champai Soren has granted approval to commence departmental proceedings against seven officers of the State Administrative Service. Among them, three officers—Ravindra Kumar Singh, Ravi Shankar, and Mukund Das—have already retired. Retired IAS officer Kamal John Lakra has been appointed as the investigating officer to look into the allegations against these officers.

Allegations of irregularities have surfaced against these individuals. It is claimed that they were involved in various irregularities during their respective postings. District Commissioners from the districts where these officers served prepared Form A and submitted reports to the government, indicating prima facie evidence of the allegations. Subsequently, the matter was forwarded to the Chief Minister for approval. Following the CM’s consent, the Personnel Department has issued orders for disciplinary action.
