CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan Worshipped Maa Narmada in Amarkantak, Attended ‘Shri Vidyasagar Ji Daya’ Award Distribution

On Monday, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan attended the ‘Shri Vidyasagar Ji Daya Puraskar’ distribution programme at Amarkantak, located in Anuppur district, on the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti. During this, the Chief Minister felicitated the representatives of the organizations and the cow servants who successfully ran the cow shelters.

Today, on the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti, Lord Mahavir Swami’s mantra of truth, non-violence, and asteya can guide the world’s humanity onto the path of eternal peace, which is burnt in the fire of materialism,” Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan stated in his speech. In addition, CM Shivraj asserted that a Mahavir is someone who wins for themselves while a hero is someone who wins for others. What’s more important is that one needs to become a Jitendriya. Because of this, the Jin are Jain and the Jitendriya are Jin. He declared, “May all be blessed with good health; may all be happy.”

Animal ambulance facility in Madhya Pradesh

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the Madhya Pradesh government is also running several schemes for the welfare of animals. Till now, there was an arrangement for an ambulance to be available only for the immediate treatment of citizens, but now it has been decided to run an ambulance when cows or other silent animals fall ill. Doctors and compounders will also be there in the ambulance.

Liquor Vends closed in Madhya Pradesh

CM Shivraj said that the Madhya Pradesh government is determined to get rid of drug addiction. For this, the efforts of the government are paying off. Our government has recently implemented the new excise policy as of April 1. All liquor vends have been closed in Madhya Pradesh. The operation of bars has also been banned in the state. With social participation, Madhya Pradesh is moving fast in the direction of drug addiction.

Shivraj Singh Chouhan also stated: “In Amarkantak, I had the good fortune to have the darshan and company of Acharya Shri Vidyasagar Ji Maharaj. With the blessings of Acharya Shri, the resolutions of human welfare and service to living beings are being proven. I wish that your virtuous blessings should always be received like this.
