A staggering 6,000 BJP workers turned out for the rally, which was held at a lively location. They enthusiastically chanted “BJP Ki Jai, Nadda Ji Jai, Narendra Modi Ji Jai” to welcome their leader.

According to an official release from the BJP, “The energetic and charismatic leader, Shri J.P Nadda Ji, National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), led a grand rally in Kamalanagar, Mizoram, to galvanize the party’s Karyakartas for the impending Mizoram Election 2023.”

BJP chief J.P Nadda, Sambit Patra, National BJP Spokesperson, Ritu Raj Sinha, National Secretary, BJP, Durjya Dhan Chakma, BJP Official Candidate for the 36-Tuichawng(ST) Assembly Constituency, JB Rualchinga, BJP Official Candidate for the 37-Lawngtlai West (ST) Assembly Constituency, and Nirupam Chakma, District President, BJP CADC were present at the rally.

Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the BJP National President emphasised the achievements of several central government programmes, including PMGKVY (Pradhan Mantri Gramin Kaushal Vikas Yojana), PMJAY (Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana), and PMAY (Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana).

In response to the issues raised by the residents of the Chakma Autonomous District Council (CADC), such as inadequate healthcare facilities and inadequate road access, Nadda gave the audience the assurance that Prime Minister Modi has launched a plethora of development initiatives.

He bemoaned, however, that the current state government’s shortcomings were preventing these benefits from reaching the people of Mizoram.
