Congress announced Rahul Gandhi as the Prime Ministerial candidate for the next Lok Sabha Elections. Taking a dig at Wayanad’s MP, BJP shared a cartoon of Rahul Gandhi mocking at the grand old party’s decision.
BJP posted the cartoon of Rahul Gandhi on X(formerly known as Twitter) showing Rahul Gandhi flying a plane, captioning the image as Hot air INDIA- Your ticket to disaster”. Brand new(Old).
As per India Today, Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot said, “An alliance has been formed. All the parties in the alliance deliberate and a decision is taken… The face of the Congress is Rahul Gandhi. The prime ministerial face of the Congress is Rahul Gandhi. He was and will remain our prime ministerial candidate. Kharge Ji himself said this. There is no issue at all.”
Discussing more about alliance he said many other local factors play role in elections but viewing the current all the parties are under extreme pressure. “The public has created such pressure, resulting in an alliance of all parties, he added.”
INDIA bloc comprises of 26 parties to challenge BJP-led NDA for next year’s Lok Sabha Elections. INDIA bloc has held two meetings in less than a month and will be conducting third meeting of the opposition alliance in Mumbai on August 31 and September 1. PM Modi has repeatedly slammed INDIA Bloc for promoting corruption and said the alliance has no interest in serving the nation.
