Union Minister Ramdas Athawale welcomed Nitish Kumar’s move to join the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA), stating it’s “better late than never.” Athawale expressed that Kumar’s decision strengthens the NDA, while the opposition INDIA bloc faces a setback. He thanked Kumar for aligning with the NDA and predicted Narendra Modi’s return as Prime Minister in 2024.

Athawale took a dig at Rahul Gandhi’s Congress, questioning the purpose of the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra and criticizing the party’s failure to unite the country during its long governance. He also pointed out rifts within the opposition, noting that Mamata Banerjee and Arvind Kejriwal have decided not to share seats with Congress.

The Union Minister sought an apology from Congress for alleged anti-Ambedkar views, mentioning Sam Pitroda’s endorsement of Sudheendra Kulkarni’s article. Athawale predicted over 400 seats for the BJP in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and pledged support to Modi till 2044.

He expressed gratitude to Modi for appointing an OBC, Mohan Yadav, as the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh. Athawale welcomed the Ram temple consecration in Ayodhya and urged Congress leaders to attend non-political events like this. Regarding Madhya Pradesh’s new Chief Minister, he emphasized the importance of providing opportunities to new faces like an OBC leader. Athawale predicted Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s participation in Lok Sabha polls and his potential role as a Union Minister in Delhi.
