“Ashok Gehlot did not provide security to Karni Sena chief despite death threats”: Gogamedi’s wife in FIR

Chief of the Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi was shot and killed inside his Jaipur home. In a complaint, Gogamedi’s wife claimed that despite threats to his life, Ashok Gehlot, the chief minister of Rajasthan, and the director general of police neglected to provide Gogamedi with security.

Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, chief of the Karni Sena, was killed on Tuesday at the hands of unknown attackers. Gunmen can be seen shooting Gogamedi on CCTV footage of the incident before escaping the scene.

Gogamedia’s wife said that she had even sent a letter to Rajasthan DGP Umesh Mishra informing him of a plot to kill being planned to kill Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi.

She claimed that even after receiving multiple reports about threats against Gogamedi’s life, Gehlot and Mishra failed to give security to Karni Sena chief.

A case has been filed by the police under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, the Indian Arms Act, and the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.

Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, the president of the Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena, was shot and killed inside his home on Tuesday in Jaipur by an unidentified attacker. Two of the accused have been identified by the police.

Nitin Fouji, a native of Mahendragath in Haryana, is one of the accused; the other is Rohit Rathore, a native of Makrana Nagaur.

Sources claim that Naveen Shekhawat, Rohit Rathore, and Nitin Fauji met with the Karni Sena chief under the guise of presenting a marriage card.
