Zodiac Matches That Make The Best Couples
According to sources, a 66-year-old locksmith from Aligarh created a massive 400kg lock which is about 10 feet high, 4.6 feet wide, and 9.5 inches thick — for the Ram mandir in Ayodhya. The locksmith, Satya Prakash Sharma, described it as “the world’s largest handmade lock.”
The lock, which costs over Rs 2 lakh, features a portrait of Lord Ram. Sharma now wishes to “gift” it to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust so that it might be kept in the temple.
Satya Prakash, has small lock-making unit in his house at Naurangabad colony, said, “I have been making locks since childhood. I got the idea of making a giant lock for the temple since it would be a unique thing”. Currently, the locksmith is all dwelled in making minor additions and providing finishing touch to his “creation”. “I’m looking for someone who could contribute towards the purchase of steel and brass,” he said. However, he has kept the lock outside his house . A senior member of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, Dr Anil Mishra, said that he will “need to speak to others in trust before commenting on whether the lock can be accepted”.
Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetrathe trust authorities, according to sources, have been receiving offerings from a large number of devotees. The temple’s consecration ceremony is set for January 2024. The lock, which cost roughly Rs 2 lakh, features a portrait of Lord Ram.
