CM Yogi Adityanath orders 800 signages in Maha Kumbh Nagar to guide devotees, ensuring a smooth journey to the ghats and ashrams.

800 Signages

In preparation for Maha Kumbh 2025, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed the implementation of special arrangements, including the installation of 800 signages across Maha Kumbh Nagar to guide the millions of devotees expected to visit, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free journey to the ghats and ashrams.

Over 400 signages have already been installed, with the remaining ones expected to be completed by 31 December.

The Public Works Department (PWD) in Prayagraj is working at full capacity, aiming to install 100 signages daily to ensure seamless navigation for the devotees.

The officials have prioritized language inclusivity to accommodate the large number of visitors, including those from abroad.

In line with CM Yogi’s directive, the signages will feature multiple languages, including Hindi, English, and regional Indian languages, ensuring accessibility for all.

Chief Engineer of PWD Prayagraj, AK Dwivedi, confirmed that the installation efforts are progressing at full speed, with the team focused on meeting the 31 December deadline.

Along with the signages, 28 pontoon bridges are also nearing completion, with only minor work left on a few.

These bridges, essential for easing movement across the water, will be fully operational in the coming days, with all work likely completed by 31 December.

This comprehensive initiative reflects the state administration’s commitment to providing a seamless and spiritually enriching experience for the devotees at Maha Kumbh 2025.
