60.09 percent of voters participated in the fifth round of the Lok Sabha polls on Monday until 11:30 pm, spanning 49 parliamentary constituencies in six states and two Union Territories (UTs), according to the Election Commission (ECI).

66.95 percent of the electorate, or 45.1 crore voters, cast ballots in the first four stages of the current Lok Sabha elections. After the first four rounds of the 2019 elections, the voter turnout was less than 68.15%, according to the recorded percentage.
