Three people thrashed a head constable in Delhi when he asked them to “drive carefully” after their vehicle hit the front side of his vehicle. The incident took place at Tilak Nagar area in Delhi on September 15.
M. G. Rajesh complained that after being hit by another car, he motioned the damage done to his own car and warned the three, 2 men and 1 woman inside the car to drive recklessly and headed towards home.
After the brief exchange with the three, the 50-year-old claimed he was on his way home, but they pursued him and obstructed his path.
He claimed they damaged his car and dragged him out of the vehicle before beating him with iron rod and bricks.
“One of the men picked up a brick and damaged the windshield of my vehicle,” he said. The head constable alleged that the same man dragged him out of his vehicle and started thrashing him.
“I managed to push one of the men away, but the woman attacked me with the brick. The man then overpowered me while his brother attacked me with an iron rod,” he said.
Mr. Rajesh claimed that after being brutally beaten up he lost consciousness.
Rajesh’s son claimed that after his father was hurt, the assailants absconded, a nearby man took the victim to the hospital where he is currently being treated. As per police Rajesh has suffered serious head injuries.
The cops have arrested both the men who are brothers and investigating about the woman role in the incident who is speculated to be their mother.
