21-Year Old MPPSC Student Found Hanging From Ceiling Fan, Probe Begins

In Indore, Madhya Pradesh, a student studying for the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) exams was discovered dead in his hostel room under suspicious circumstances, according to police,

21-year-old Puneet Dubey, a second-year B.Sc. student at Indore’s Ranjit Singh College, was discovered hanging from the room’s ceiling fan. When the police found him, they said, he was blindfolded, dressed in a saree and wearing women’s cosmetics.

According to the police, blood was scattered on ground close to the body. According to them, Puneet’s death is being investigated from both murder and a suicide viewpoint.

Three days later, when Puneet’s neighbors reported to authorities regarding the bad smell coming from room, the incident was discovered.

Puneet’s father, Tribhuvan Dubey, a farmer leader and Udaipura local, stated that his son was a second-year B.Sc. student in computer science who had relocated to Indore two years prior for his studies. Every night, he used to make a call home. At 10 p.m. on Thursday, Puneet had his final talk with his mother, Vibhuti Dubey.

Dubey informed investigators that he used to spend his days at the coaching center from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

It was also disclosed that Puneet’s cell phone was off all day on Friday when the family attempted to reach him. They then got in touch with some of Puneet’s acquaintances and relatives in Indore. When they got to his room, they discovered that the door was locked from the inside and called the police.

Puneet’s lifeless body was discovered by the police when they arrived and opened the door. His mobile phone and laptop were taken by the police, who also started an inquiry. Puneet’s hostel companions are being questioned by the police.

Puneet Dubey’s body was brought to Udaipura for his final rituals following the post-mortem. In order to learn the truth about his son’s death, Tribhuvan Dubey insisted on a comprehensive inquiry.
