Sidharth Shukla Opens Up About His Toughest Challenge on Bigg Boss: Being Apart from His Mother

Following his 2019 season on Bigg Boss 13, late actor Sidharth Shukla rose to fame. The performer proceeded to win the show too. Today is Sidharth’s 43rd birthday. In an interview with Humans of Bombay, he had previously discussed his relationship with his mother Rita Shukla. He had said that being apart from her during Bigg Boss ‘was the toughest part of the show’ and had expressed how much he missed her company.

On September 2, 2021, Sidharth passed away. On the same day, Humans of Bombay posted a post featuring his pictures in which the late actor discussed his relationship with his mother. “I didn’t speak to her for months,” he wrote. Being apart from her was the most difficult aspect of the show, even though I realize it doesn’t sound very cool to say at 39. I therefore sat down and read a letter she wrote to me in her voice when I got it on set; it was as though she was sitting right next to me and that letter was a piece of her.”

He went on, “I feel like the happiest man on earth when she tells me she’s proud of me because I was able to make a woman who means everything to me smile. She is still my anchor and always gives me her daily advice. The first thing she told me when I saw her on set after three long months was to put on some jeans and stop wearing shorts all the time.

With the television series Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na, Sidharth made his acting debut. He made his Bollywood debut in the film Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, starring Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan in a supporting role. Sidharth Shukla closed the distance with Shehnaaz Gill inside the Bigg Boss house. They never declared their relationship to be official. Shehnaaz paid tribute to Sidharth with the moving music video Tu Yaheen hai, which was released following her passing.
