Saira Banu, the legendary actress, has been sharing precious memories on her Instagram feed, and her latest post features none other than the iconic Shah Rukh Khan. Sharing a throwback picture of herself alongside her late husband, Dilip Kumar, and the star of “Jawan,” Saira Banu delved into the special connection they all shared.

In her heartfelt post, she recounted her “chance encounter” with the Pathaan star, describing her first impressions of him. She wrote, “The first time I saw Shahrukh was at a star-studded function…I couldn’t help but notice his shyness and reluctance to step forward…and I noticed that he looked so much like my Shahenshah, Dilip Sahib…I said, if my son had been there, he would have been just like him.”

Saira Banu went on to share a vivid memory of an encounter with Shahrukh Khan, where he humbly sought her blessings. She described how his hair reminded her of Dilip Sahib’s, and their ritual of her running her fingers through his hair whenever they met.

Describing Shah Rukh Khan as a “considerate individual,” Saira Banu recalled an incident when SRK supported her in her endeavors. She mentioned an event for her company where she wished for Shahrukh to participate in an interview. Despite his busy schedule, a single text message from her brought him to her doorstep within an hour, showcasing his willingness to support her.

“On the 7th of July, when Dilip Sahib entered a deep slumber, unresponsive to my voice, leaving me burdened with the ache of his absence, Shahrukh emerged as a beacon of solace. His affection for the ‘Kohinoor of Hindustan,’ Dilip Sahib, shone brightly as he was among the first to offer his comforting presence in the face of adversity. Shahrukh’s admiration for Sahib was evident when he visited our home to get the ‘Mughal-e-Azam’ poster signed by Sahib, a keepsake now in his private theater. It reflects his deep-rooted respect and affection for the cinematic legends who paved the way,” Saira Banu concluded.
