Zodiac Matches That Make The Best Couples
In 2020, Rupali Ganguly made a comeback to television with Anupamaa, and since then there was no turning back. She has seen tremendous success and popularity as her show consistently tops TRP rankings. In a recent interview, the actor discussed the programme and complimented its creators for keeping it authentic and choosing her as the lead role despite being 42.
According to Rupali, younger women nearly in the age range of 25-26 are frequently chosen to play mothers to men of their own age in television roles. Producer of Anupamaa Rajan Shahi, however, made a different choice and chose to cast a 42-year-old to play a woman of her age.
Speaking of Anupamaa’s accomplishment, Rupali Ganguly expressed her gratitude to God giving her such an opportunity. She admitted that she enjoys both acting and the medium. In the interview she mentioned that, “Television is the medium that made me, gave me the recognition that actors crave to find. Television gives ample opportunities to every actor to showcase their talent.”
Rupali reveals that she gets less time to spend with her child, which is is the only disadvantage of her work. She added in the interview, “The only drawback is that I get to spend less time with my child. I go to work every day with guilt but nevertheless, I’m blessed that I have a spouse who’s there. He has broken that typical mindset despite being so successful, he has chosen to be at home and take care of our child. He doesn’t need me to go out there and work. But he still respects the fact that I have talent and really thinks that I should showcase it.”
