Ram Charan And Upasana Konidela , Welcome Their 1st Child, A Baby Girl!

Actor Ram Charan and his wife Upasana Konidela became parents to a baby girl. On Monday night in Hyderabad, the actor, and his wife were seen visiting a hospital. On Tuesday morning, the news of their child’s birth was shared by the hospital. Upasana and Ram Charan have welcomed their first baby after ten years of marriage.

“Miss Upasana Kamineni and Ram Charan Konidela had a baby girl on 20th June 2023, at Apollo Hospital Jubilee Hills Hyderabad. The baby and mother are doing well”, said doctors.

Pregnancy Announcement

In December 2022, Ram Charan and his wife Upasana made the pregnancy public. “With Shri Hanuman Ji’s blessings, we are happy to announce that Upasana and Ram Charan are expecting their first child. Shobana & Anil Kamineni (sic), Surekha & Chiranjeevi Konideli, with love & appreciation”, the couple said.

Last year in December Ram’s family, including his father, veteran actor Chiranjeevi, revealed that they were expecting Ram’s first child. The couple has already attended numerous baby showers in Hyderabad and Dubai and has also traveled to the US for the 2023 Oscars and a “babymoon.”

Upasana recently revealed in a recent interview, how Ram responded to the pregnancy news, “When I told him that I think I am pregnant, he said, ‘Don’t get too excited, calm down’. Once we repeated the tests and we knew that all the tests were fine, that’s when he celebrated. That is what I admire the most about Ram, he’s the calming factor in my life, while I am the more excited one. I love to express my feelings; he does it calmly in his own way.”

About the baby’s arrival, she stated, “We are all really excited, nervous, and a little bit anxious about the birth of our baby”. When I am hyper or experiencing panic episodes, Ram is the one I turn to. Okay, let’s work it out, he says as he quietly places me down. Ram will no doubt actively participate in parenting.”
