Rajkummar Rao Mesmerizes in Debut Look as Srikanth Bolla in Upcoming Biopic “Srikanth”

Rajkummar Rao is set to embody the remarkable journey of veteran industrialist Srikanth Bolla in the upcoming biopic titled “Srikanth,” scheduled for release on May 10 this year. Alongside Rao, the film features acclaimed actors Jyothika, Alaya F, and Sharad Kelkar in significant roles. The unveiling of Rao’s first look as Srikanth has already generated considerable buzz.

In a recent Instagram post, Rao shared a captivating video showcasing his portrayal of Srikanth, exuding sheer determination as he races towards his goals. The teaser concludes with the film’s title and release date, building anticipation among fans.

Srikanth Bolla’s narrative is one of resilience and innovation. Born visually impaired in 1992 in a modest village near Hyderabad, India, Srikanth defied societal expectations and established Bollant Industries. His company specializes in producing eco-friendly products while providing employment opportunities for unskilled and differently-abled individuals.

Despite encountering prejudice and obstacles, Srikanth pursued his education vigorously, eventually becoming the first international blind student at the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the United States. The biopic promises to honor Srikanth Bolla’s inspiring legacy, highlighting his journey from overcoming adversity to pioneering inclusive employment practices.
