On the occasion of Kareena Kapoor Khan’s birthday Sunday, her elder sister Karisma Kapoor took to Instagram to celebrate.
With a sentimental photograph of Kareena hugging her, Karisma described her as the ‘most precious sister’, writing, “Best friends and Beyond. Happy birthday to my most precious sister.”
Karisma and Kareena Kapoor belong to a family that practically built Bollywood.
As daughters of Randhir Kapoor and Babita, and granddaughters of the legendary Raj Kapoor, they belong to the industry’s first family.
Kareena, born September 21, 1980, has not just lived up to expectations but exceeded them, delivering standout films like Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Jab We Met and Laal Singh Chaddha.
Kareena married Saif Ali Khan, the Nawab of Pataudi, in 2012, merging two cinematic dynasties and forming Bollywood’s ultimate power couple.
Meanwhile, Karisma Kapoor’s children, Samaira and Kiaan, approached the Delhi High Court, insisting on their share of late Sunjay Kapur’s estate. The siblings allege that his third wife, Priya, attempted to alter the will in her favour.
Through legal representation, Samaira and Kiaan revealed they shared regular communication with their father, including visits, holidays, and WhatsApp groups. They are requesting the court to acknowledge them as heirs, each due one-fifth of the property.
The ongoing case shines a light on family and inheritance challenges faced even within prominent and well-known households.
