Crazy Fandom! Prabhas Fan Cuts His Arm, Video Goes Viral, Watch Here

The movie “Adipurush” by Om Raut was officially released in theatres on Friday, June 16. In the movie, which is a retelling of the Ramayana, Prabhas plays Lord Ram, Kriti Sanon portrays Goddess Sita, and Saif Ali Khan plays Raavan alias Lankesh, the avatar of the powerful demon king.

Huge cut-outs of Prabhas were created at one location where “Adipurush” premiered, while in another location fans could be seen dancing to dhol beats and setting off firecrackers.

In the midst of the excitement surrounding the premiere of the movie, a horrifying video of a fan cutting off his arm and spitting blood on an “Adipurush” poster has gone viral online.

Viral Video

Prabhas has the biggest fan base in the South Indian film industry. Recently a fan’s video is going viral on the internet in which he cut his hand in front of Prabhas’s poster and applied blood all over it.

A youngster cheering while holding a broken beer bottle is visible in the video. Using the broken bottle he randomly gash his forearm, and applied blood from his wounds onto the poster of Prabhas as Lord Ram from “Adipurush.”

Honored seat for Lord Hanuman

Om Raut urged the producers and exhibitors to set aside one seat in each theatre for Lord Hanuman for Adipurush. He said,“Wherever the Ramayana is spoken, Lord Hanuman comes. We firmly believe it. Adipurush, the Rama-starrer starring Prabhas, will have one seat reserved in each theatre that will not be sold for Lord Hanuman in observance of this concept. Hear the tale of how the greatest Rama follower was honored. We began this fantastic project in an unorthodox manner. We must all witness the Adipurush being constructed in the sight of Lord Hanuman with enormous grandeur and majesty”.

Reviews on Adipurush

The movie is getting mixed reviews. Many fans are loving the movie and say that it is a hit. On the other hand, some are saying that due to more VFX, the movie is not depicting the reality of Ramayan.
