Anil Kapoor Quits ‘Housefull 5’ Due To Fees Issues: Report

With Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar reuniting for “Housefull 5,” viewers anticipated a great deal of humor! But it appears that things have stopped again!

Following their comedic roles in the ‘Welcome’ series, Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar were paired with Riteish Deshmukh, Akshay Kumar, and Abhishek Bachchan for ‘Housefull 5’. It appears that Anil Kapoor quitted the comedy franchise due to financial concerns.

Anil Kapoor left the movie because he and veteran actor Sajid Nadiadwala couldn’t agree on the fees that former demanded, according to mid-day.

Since Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor were meant to have a humorous friendship, the creators are apparently rewriting Nana Patekar’s role in the movie as a result of this significant cast shift.

As per reports, Arjun Rampal is in talks to become a part of the franchise. The producers have not yet verified this, though.

‘Housefull 5’ is still on track, even with this significant casting change, and that director Tarun Mansukhani will begin filming the movie at the end of August with a rigorous schedule in the UK. The movie was originally scheduled to be released around Diwali in 2024, however that date was later moved to 2025.

Announcing the same, the makers shared in a statement, “The Houseful franchise owes its massive success to the audiences, and we hope for a similar reception for Houseful 5. The team has crafted an absolutely mind-blowing story that demands top-notch VFX. Therefore, we’ve made the decision to push the release to ensure we deliver five times the entertainment with great cinematic experience. Housefull 5 will now be released on 6th June 2025.”
