In the next episode of the youth adventure reality show “MTV Roadies Karm Ya Kaand,” transwoman participant Neerja Punia will show the strength and passion she has as the show continues to eliminate gender biases and set an example for inclusivity.
She will be seen putting light on the problems that transgender people experience in modern society, as well as her own transformational path and how it affects one’s mental, physical, and financial well-being.
Neerja is a transgender model from Haryana who is in her early twenties. She conquered social discrimination by making it to the ‘MTV Roadies auditions.
Rhea Chakraborty, the head of the gang, said: “This journey and your transformation are extremely difficult, and you truly need a lot of support from the people around you… jo zyadatar logo’n ko nahi milta”.
The gang leaders are thrilled to have Neerja in their gang as she demonstrates strength, resilience, and ability to challenge stereotypes.
“MTV Roadies Karm Ya Kaand” airs Saturday and Sunday on MTV and Jio Cinema.
The show will be hosted by Sonu Sood and gang leaders Prince Narula, Gautam Gulati, and Rea Chakraborty. MTV Roadies – Karm ya Kand, co-supported by Yamaha as Riding Partner and Eeken as Associate Partner with Wild stone, will premiere on June 3, 2023, and thereafter every Saturday and Sunday at 7 pm on MTV and JioCinema.
In this year’s Journey, participants must battle an exciting mix of huge challenges and unexpected twists and turns on their way to victory. This daring adventure continues from Kurukshetra to Kaza, visiting destinations such as Patiala, Cheil, Kuru, and Sithu along the way.
Shiv Thakre will play a guest gang leader on the show. He completed shooting for roadies before departing for Cape Town to shoot Khatron Ke Khiladi 13. Shiv gained a large following with Bigg Boss 16 after taking part in Roadies Rising and won Bigg Boss Marathi 2. Shiv’s Roadies audition video became popular during his time on Bigg Boss.
