In a strong rebuttal, the Adani Group has firmly denied recent allegations suggesting its involvement in Swiss court proceedings.
The company issued a statement categorically refuting claims that any of its accounts had been subject to sequestration by Swiss authorities.
“We unequivocally reject and deny the baseless allegations presented. The Adani Group has no involvement in any Swiss court proceedings, nor have any of our company accounts been subject to sequestration by any authority,” said a spokesperson for the Adani Group.
The statement emphasized that the Swiss court order in question does not mention any of the group’s companies, nor has the conglomerate received any requests for clarification or information from any regulatory body.
In a detailed defense of its operations, the Adani Group highlighted that its overseas holding structure remains ‘transparent, fully disclosed, and compliant with all relevant laws’.
The group condemned the allegations as ‘preposterous, irrational, and absurd’, and accused an orchestrated effort by certain groups to damage its reputation and market value.
“We have no hesitation in stating that this is yet another orchestrated and egregious attempt by the same cohorts acting in unison to inflict irreversible damage on our group’s reputation and market value,” the spokesperson added.
The company reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining transparency and compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
The Adani Group urged media outlets to refrain from publishing the story, but if they choose to do so, they have requested the inclusion of their statement in full.
“We strongly condemn this effort and urge you to refrain from publishing this story. Should you decide to proceed, we request that you include our statement in full,” the statement concluded.
