The much-awaited consecration of Lord Ram in the temple town of Ayodhya is set to begin at 12:20 pm. It is expected to end by 1 pm, when Prime Minister Modi will address the assembly.

Nearly seven thousand dignitaries are expected to attend the great 'Pran Pratishtha' (consecration) ceremony of Ram Lalla's idol in Ayodhya today.

To commemorate the occasion, the centre has announced that all government offices and educational institutions will have a half-day on January 22.

This incident occurred just two days before the Ayodhya Ram Mandir's "Pran Pratishtha," or consecration ritual.

There are festivities scheduled for that day all around Bhiwandi in the honour of occasion.

The city is decorated with saffron flags and enormous cutouts of Lord Ram that have been positioned in the middle of the Ram Path.
