The Vacation bench of Justice PS Narsimha and Justice Sanjay Karol is hearing the petition filed on behalf of the accused. The Supreme Court will next hear the case on the 15th  of July.

A total of 695 candidates are in the fray in the fifth phase of Lok Sabha elections.  According to the information pooled from the Election Commission of India, with 4.69 crore males and 4.26 crore females, 8.95 crore Indians are to cast vote on 49 parliamentary constituencies spread across the six states and two union territories in the last third phase of the 18th General elections.

Speaking to the reporters on Monday Bhushan maintained, " We will get more votes because of those allegations." There is only one issue in Kaisarganj, that is Brij Bhushan Singh," former WFI chief added.
