Operation Ajay: 235 Indians Board The Second Flight From Israel

The first flight from Tel Aviv arrived in Delhi on Friday morning, carrying more than 200 people

On Saturday morning, a second flight carrying 235 Indians from Israel landed at Delhi airport. The government has started Operation Ajay to help those who want to come back home from Israel, amid fresh tensions as a result of the Israel-Hamas war.

Arindam Bagchi, a spokesperson for the External Affairs Ministry, stated that the second flight carrying 235 passengers arrived in the national capital on Saturday. He also uploaded the photos of the passengers on social media.

According to the Kerala government, the chartered flight AI 140 carried 235 Indians, 33 of whom were from Kerala.

The first flight from Tel Aviv, also operated by Air India, arrived in Delhi on Friday morning, carrying more than 200 people.

Rajkumar Ranjan Singh, Minister of State for External Affairs, met the Indians arriving from Israel at the airport.

Rajkumar Ranjan Singh tweeted, “Received the second batch of Indians from Israel. Heartening to note that they are very appreciative of GoI’s swift response #OperationAjay and @MEAIndia for smooth coordination”, through his official ‘X’ handle.
