Karan thanks the team of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani
“Prior to the release of this film, I felt that at any point of time, I would need an IV drip and was near collapse!! The question I asked myself was, Is it the long 7-year gap? Or the anxiety built over the last three years. Or the fact that we live in an ambiguous box office season. Whatever the real reason is, I was a bona fide mess! But on Friday, July 28, I felt nothing but gratitude, validation, and sheer joy. This film is truly a product of team energy and love.
What Karan had to say?
“I’d like to start by thanking the film’s writing team, Shashank Kahitan and Sumit Roy, for guiding me through the narrative journey of our film.” Ishita Moitra deserves special praise for bringing so much humor, reflection, and film drama to the writing. “Without the creative governance and brilliance of Somen Mishra, this entire writing process would not have been possible,” Karan wrote.

He went to thank the film’s crew and cast individually. In the post, Karan addressed Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, saying, “To Rocky and Rani, I have a separate love letter I want to write to you, but I want to say you’re the most indispensable part of this prem kahaani.” You two not only made the film what it is, but you also gave me so much energy from your love. I adore you both to the moon and back – and I hope and pray that I may be able to work with you again soon.” He ended the letter by thanking close pals, one of whom appears to be Gauri Khan.
