The Indian Australian Diaspora Foundation is planning a large community gathering in honor of Prime Minister Narendra Modi ahead of the QUAD Leaders’ Summit, which will be held in Sydney later this month.
PM Modi will attend the event in Sydney on May 23, a day before of the Quad Leaders’ Summit on May 24.
The Indian Australian Diaspora Foundation (IADF) said, “The event, which will be held on May 23, aims to provide the large and growing Indian diaspora of Australia with an opportunity to listen to our beloved leader, the Prime Minister of India”.
The IADF has already received an amazing response to the event, including registration from over 20,000 members who wish to attend.
More than 300 diaspora organizations from various social, cultural, linguistic, business, professional, and religious backgrounds have registered to be reception welcoming partners.
Vijay Chauthaiwale who heads the BJP Foreign Affairs Department said, “We have seen grand events take place whenever Prime Minister Narendra Modi travels overseas and the Indian diaspora is excited to have him in their midst. This event in Sydney is expected to be no different as there is a huge excitement among the locals to welcome the most popular leader worldwide”.
Cultural activities, singing, and dances are planned for the Prime Minister’s lavish welcome during the function to highlight India’s rich cultural heritage and how it is thriving under the Indians who have lived in these countries.
The most anticipated part of the evening is PM Modi’s address to those assembled there.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Japan and Papua New Guinea before heading to Australia to attend the G7 summit and the Forum for India-Pacific Islands Cooperation Summit, respectively.
The Indian Australian Diaspora Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and celebrating India’s diverse culture in Australia. It serves as a forum for the Indian diaspora in Australia to network and promote cultural and community events.
