IPl 2023 RCB vs MI Highlights: Yet again, Mumbai Indians lost the opening match of an Indian Premier League (IPL) season, suffering an 8-wicket rout against Illustrious Challengers Bangalore on Sunday. After the team’s defeat, Rohit said, “In the first six overs, we did not have a great start with the bat. However, Tilak’s and the efforts of a few other batters were outstanding. We just didn’t do enough with the ball, though. It was an excellent pitch for bats. Tilak Verma: “He is a positive individual, very skilled too. He played some shots with a lot of bravery. Thank you, Tilak, for helping us reach a competitive total. It was an excellent batting surface. We didn’t set any goals, but we got to 170 despite not even hitting half of our potential. The ideal number of runs would have been between 30 and 40.
